About Big D's

Big D’s is new. Thirty-two acres on Highway 11 in Red Deer County, built from bare land, open from October 3, 2026.

That is worth saying plainly rather than dancing around. We do not have twenty years of customers to point at. What we have is a yard designed from nothing by people who had strong opinions about what storage yards get wrong.

Four things we decided early

Big D’s RV & Storage is so much more than a regular storage facility. We’ve gone above and beyond to add features and services that make storing your boat or RV more convenient.

We paved it

Almost every storage yard around here is gravel, because gravel is cheaper to put down. It is also worse every single spring, and worse for the twenty years after that. We paved the whole thing.

We put it between the two towns

Not in Red Deer, not in Sylvan Lake, on the road that joins them. Ten minutes from the lake, twenty from the city. Whichever end you are coming from, you were driving past anyway.

We ran power to a block of lots

So people who actually use their trailer most weekends can leave it plugged in and ready, instead of stored and dormant. Nobody else between the two towns does it.

We put the useful things on site

Two RV dump stations, air, water, firewood, ice, propane, and somewhere for the dog. None of it is complicated. It is just the list of things people end up hunting for, in one place, on the way out.
